Opening in Fall 2026, Fordham University and a coalition of community, industry, and higher education partners will launch the Bronx Green Jobs Center. This first-of-its-kind green jobs hub will deliver training in five areas-- solar installation and repair, electric vehicle charger installation and repair, urban agriculture, environmental justice, and energy efficiency and green buildings--as well as employment services, and support for aspiring entrepreneurs in sustainable industries, helping community members access good-paying jobs in innovative and high-demand fields that are shaping the future.
